Command palette

You can navigate and search Oblique using the command palette. Some operations also have keyboard shortcuts.

The command palette is the primary way to search Oblique, allowing you to search all objects. You can also use list pages, such as the resources list, to search and filter for specific objects.

The command palette provides an alternative way to navigate Oblique. You can still navigate Oblique with the regular menus and reach all paths and objects by selecting them.

From any page in Oblique, open the command palette using the shortcut Command + KControl + K. You can also open the command palette by selecting the search icon at the top of the sidebar, labeled Search anything.

Once opened, the command palette displays a list of commonly accessed paths.

  1. Open the command palette using the shortcut Command + KControl + K or by selecting the search icon at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Start typing to find a specific page, or use the arrow keys to navigate to a specific path.
  3. Select the path EnterEnter to navigate to the desired location.

  1. Open the command palette using the shortcut Command + KControl + K or by selecting the search icon at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Start typing to find a specific object. The search results will narrow to objects matching the search parameters.
  3. (Optional) Select the object EnterEnter to navigate to it.

Other operations in Oblique also have keyboard shortcuts, like Command + KControl + K for the command palette. Where they exist, they’re shown in tooltips and in dropdown menus.

To see the full list of available shortcuts, open the Keyboard shortcuts dialog with Shift + SlashShift + Slash or select Keyboard shortcuts from your user menu.

Use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the list of requests:

  • JJ or Down ArrowDown Arrow for going down to the next request
  • KK or Up ArrowUp Arrow for going up to the previous request
  • AA for approving requests
  • EE for applying requests

Use keyboard shortcuts to take actions on objects from their detail pages:

  • Command + Shift + CControl + Shift + C for copying the link to the object
  • Command + Option + CControl + Alt + C for copying the ID of the object
  • Command + BackspaceControl + Backspace for deleting the object
